I want you to go back to the beginning. 🔙
That’s right.
Christmas 🎄 has this wonderful way of reminding us of where life begins.
We see it in the manger in Bethlehem 🐑🌟 with the Christ child 👶✝️, where you have the Word itself taking on our flesh, taking you back to the beginning.
That’s right.
Jesus is the Word who was there and gave all things. 🙏✨
With Jesus, you have the Word made flesh. 🕊️
God dwelling with His creation again. 🌍
And it will stay that way forever. ♾️
Jesus is the Christ child 👶✝️ that makes you children of God. 🙌
In Him, all is perfect. ✨
In Him, He will go and take your suffering in His own suffering. 💔➡️❤️
He will take your sin and make it His sin and die for it. ✝️💧
Jesus is that Word that fulfills all of God’s words. 📖
He cleanses all your sins with His blood at the cross ❤️✝️, and He declares them no more from the tomb. 🕊️🪦
You are united to this as children of God in your baptisms 💦✝️ so that you can remember every Christmas 🎄, and every day is a little bit of Christmas in your baptism, where you’re united to Christ, His death and resurrection, and made children of eternity. 🌟♾️
It’s a Christmas with the Word made flesh, the Christ child Jesus, where the promises of God are given and lived out in Jesus. ✝️✨
They’re given to you by your pastor 👨⚖️🙏, and thanks be to God for that.
Thanks be to God for using your pastor and pastors to give you the gospel. 📖🙏
And thanks be to God for you, the listener, for receiving. ❤️
