What Does “Being Redeemed” Mean to Me?

Your identity as a redeemed child of god?

When we say Christ suffered, we mean that every sin that was committed before, during, and after his incarnation was put on him on the cross.

All so that we are not damned to hell, but so that we are instead reunited with our heavenly Father.

We were bought from sin, death, and the devil.

Not with gold or silver, but with Jesus’ precious innocent blood.

We cannot pay God back.

And he is not expecting us.

He is giving all of this to us in love.

That is your identity — a redeemed child of God.
