🙌 Psalm 98 invites us into a chorus of praise that echoes through creation itself.
🌊 🌲 This beautiful psalm paints a picture of celebration, where not only people but nature itself joins the song – rivers clapping their hands, hills bursting into melody, and seas roaring with praise.
✨ Why? Because God “has done marvelous things” through His steadfast love and salvation.
👑 When we read about this salvation and righteousness in Psalm 98, we’re really reading about Jesus, whose very name means “Yahweh saves.”
⚖️ And while the psalm speaks of God coming to judge the earth, here’s the beautiful twist: this King takes that judgment upon Himself.
❤️ The verdict He delivers is one of rescue, redemption, and reconciliation. This truth transforms the psalm from a mere song into a declaration of freedom and joy.
🚗 🏃♀️ So whether you’re stuck in traffic, trudging up a mountain trail, or just making it through another ordinary day, let Psalm 98 remind you that you’re part of something bigger – a cosmic chorus celebrating God’s steadfast love.
🎵 Make that joyful noise, break forth into song, and rest in the totally sufficient, imputed righteousness of Christ our Lord.
🌟 His salvation gives us all something worth singing about! 🎶
