Why do I imagine good things in one moment, and in the very next moment I’m imagining terrible, horrible, no good, very bad things?
Why do we imagine good things one moment and terrible things the next? 🤷♂️
Paul says, “For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing.” – Romans 7:19
And just like St. Paul, we are sinner-saints, with sinner-saint imaginations.
This is why we picture or imagine things in our minds that are at one time good, true, and beautiful; and then in the very next moment we have imaginations and thoughts that are evil and false and ugly.
Our imaginations reflect this struggle. Good and true one moment, evil and false the next.
So where’s our help as sinner-saints with sinner saint imaginations?
In Christ Jesus, our imaginations are redeemed.
