Can you use your imagination to serve God?
Martin Luther called the biblical teaching and our vocations as the masks of God. God hides himself, he said, in our vocation to serve others.
And as God’s masks, serving in all the vocations we have in life, in home, in school, society, and so on, God gives us gifts.
And one of those gifts is your imagination.
Even as we grow up…
Engineers build bridges.
Architects design homes.
SAHM’s create dinner plans.
Mechanics troubleshoot engine problems.
Teachers design art projects.
Landscapers create flower beds.
Every one of us has an imagination and use it in some way every day.
Even in life as a student, brother, sister, son, daughter, friend – you are using your imagination.
We use our imaginations in service to Christ and our neighbor, because He was incarnate for us, died and rose for us.
