As A Lutheran, Should I Be Afraid of Death?

As a Lutheran, should you be afraid of death?
Hey, we get it. The thought of death can be SOOO scary!
However, death, which terrifies the world, is not our end.
It’s the portal to life eternal with Christ. ✝️
As St. Paul said, “To live is Christ, and to die is gain.”
Our journey is towards the new heavens and the new earth, where we will praise God forever.
Fear not death, but smile and say, “Bring it on. My Lord Jesus is carrying me through to paradise eternal.” 🌅
