Catechized Life

Host: Rev. Dr. Matt Richard

Luther's Small Catechism is perhaps the most under-appreciated theological text there is. So much of what we believe, teach, and confess is condensed into a booklet that a child can understand. And yet even Martin Luther himself said he could never grasp all the depth of it. In The Catechized Life, Pastor Matt Richard provides some interesting insights into the catechism and its usefulness for our daily lives.
Rev. Dr. Matt Richard is the pastor at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Minot, ND. Besides serving a great group of Saints on the North Dakota prairie, he finds great joy in speaking, writing, fishing, hunting, doing carpentry work, and driving his Ford pickup. He has been married to his wife, Serenity, for over 20 years and has three kids: Matthias, Anya, and Alaythia.

Matt finds great joy in working with young Lutherans—teaching and equipping them. A long time ago, several pastors took time to equip him and he looks for  opportunities to pay it forward to the next generation.
