Welcome
TO HT BEYOND
Higher Things has been a constant mouthpiece of the gospel and a resource for the church's high school students since 2001. Through it, pastors have preached, taught, exhorted, and absolved teenage saints through years that can only be called challenging.

Young adults in college, in vocational training and in between embody the now and not yet, often finding themselves caught between the pairings of the table of duties they learned in the Small Catechism. Seeking marriage and family, but away from their own parents, often away from the congregations that baptized and confirmed them, the years beyond High School can be an assault on the way God sustains faith. So Higher Things is going beyond too.
HT Beyond recognizes that the incarnate church is sustained by the unity of spirit but also depends on bearing with one another in love. The Saints gather together around God’s gifts. So when they grow up and move out, HT is waiting for whatever is beyond High School. Young adult events are places where young adults from across the country can gather to reunite after years of HT conferences, meet, and continue studying God’s word and find strength in His gifts.
To further this goal, we are actively working to equip and fortify campus ministries as they serve on the front lines of the church’s mission. We recognize that the in-between that young adults live in brings a new set of intellectual and spiritual attacks and burdens, so HT Beyond offers resources to answer them in hope. Through podcasts, Bible studies, and books, we aim to provide more than just surface-level answers. We are committed to helping young adults navigate the complex intersections of faith, academia, and vocational identity, ensuring they have the Lutheran tools necessary to face tough questions with confidence in Christ. By supporting the pastors and leaders who shepherd these students, we ensure that the same Gospel that sustained them in high school continues to be their rock in whatever comes next.
