The friend who betrayed us?
The kid in school who ignored us?
The teacher who picks on us?
The family member who is harsh with their words?
Yes, you CAN love all of these people…and God, too!
Because you’ve been loved first. Because you’ve been baptized.
You have been crucified with Christ in a death like his and have been brought to life again in a resurrection like his.
God the Father..
Still loves you
Still forgives you
Still has a place for you in eternity
That certainty that He has done this for you and will continue to hold you near in His arms is what reminds you that you can love those who are around you.
