Rev. Randy Sturzenbecher
Here is what you need to know about me. Child of God, every day all day. I spend a lot of time reminding everyone of their Baptism, especially in the morning when the youth are refusing to wake. I am blessed that Vonda said yes and married me when big hair was in and phones were still attached to the wall. God blessed us with 2 great kids Ryan and Megan. I serve the precious gifts of God to the saints at Divine Shepherd Lutheran Church, Black Hawk SD. I serve as 1st Vice President of the beloved South Dakota District. When I have free time you can find me blasting through the woods or on the road on a motorcycle, or making smoke and sawdust in the woodshop.

Also, she’s smart and pretty.
Sometimes he writes stuff at http://lutheranpastorsays.com and has been known to enjoy the Large Catechism. Rev. Rich Heinz
Rev. Rich Heinz is the Assistant Vice President for Mission & Ministry of his Alma Mater, Concordia University Chicago. Pastor Heinz grew up as a member and student of Christ Lutheran Church and School in Peoria, Illinois. By his freshman year of high school, he knew that Concordia College—River Forest (now CUC) was where he wanted to study, and then go on to Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. At CUC he met his future wife but didn’t know it then. They were reintroduced after he was ordained, and have been married for 22 years.
Pastor Heinz spent 22 years in Parish Ministry before accepting this call to CUC, where he serves in “Church Relations” and assisting the admissions department in building relationships with LCMS youth.
Pastor Heinz is a Star Wars fan, a Disney and JK Rowling’s Wizarding World fanatic, as a nice and loyal Hufflepuff. Maybe it’s those Hufflepuff qualities that have always made him a proud and staunch supporter of his Alma Mater. Pastor Heinz is a Facebook and Instagram junkie, Anglophile, and bibliophile who enjoys traveling and taking Afternoon Tea with his wife.
Rev. Jacob Ehrhard
Rev. Jacob Ehrhard has served as a pastor for 11 years in congregations in Illinois and Missouri and is currently the pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in New Haven, MO. In addition to his work in the congregation, Pastor Ehrhard has served as breakaway speaker, liturgist, and chaplain at past Higher Things Conferences. You can also find him on the Higher Things Facebook page every Tuesday morning for a live study of the Small Catechism—#SCTuesday. Pastor Ehrhard is husband to Gretal and father to Anna. The smallest member of their family is Gus, their Jack Russel Terrier, who happens to predate a certain other JRT whose name rhymes with Thor. Pastor Bausch’s school duties include pushing elementary students on the swings at recess and teaching religion to a combined 4th-8th-grade classroom. He and his family like to camp in National Parks where there is no cell phone coverage, and he enjoys outdoor activities like hunting, hiking, and biking. Reading has always been his favorite hobby, which is good, since he did so much of it at Concordia University, Texas and Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, IN.
