March 26, 2005 - Holy Saturday/Easter Vigil

“And on the next day, which is after the day of preparation, the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered with Pilate saying, ‘Sir, we remember that this deceiver said while he was living, “After three days I will rise.” Therefore command that the tomb be made secure until the third day, lest His disciples coming at night steal Him and say to the people, ‘He has risen from the dead!’ And this last deception will be worse than the first.’ Pilate said to them, ‘Take a guard. Go secure the tomb as you know how.’ So going, they made the tomb secure, sealing the stone with the guard.” (St. Matthew 27:57-66)

March 25, 2005 - Good Friday

“So when He received the sour wine, Jesus said, ‘It is finished,’ and bowing his head, He gave up His spirit.” (St. John 18:1-19:42)

March 24, 2005 - Maundy Thursday

“And so if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that as I have done for you also you should do.” (St. John 13:1-15)

March 23, 2005 - Holy Wednesday

“And He taking bread, giving thanks, broke it and gave it to them saying, ‘This is My Body which is given for you. This do in remembrance of Me.’ And in the same way He took the cup after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new testament in my blood which is poured out for you.’” (St. Luke 22:1-23, 42)

March 21, 2005 - Holy Monday

March 20, 2005 - Palm Sunday

“And the crowd which went before Him, and that followed, cried out, saying, ‘Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest’. “And when Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is not of this creation, not through the blood of goats and calves but through his own blood He entered once for all time the holy place having obtained eternal redemption.” (Hebrews 9:11-15)

And this Hagar is Mount Sinai and corresponds to the now Jerusalem, for she is in slavery with her children. And the Jerusalem above is free, who is our Mother.” (Galatians 4:21-31)
