February 15, 2010 - Monday of Quinquagesima

So Jesse sent and brought David in. Now he was ruddy, with bright eyes, and good-looking. And the LORD said, "Arise, anoint him; for this is the one!" (1 Samuel 16:13)

February 16, 2010 - Tuesday of Quinquagesima

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil. (1 Corinthians 13:4-5)

February 10, 2010 - Wednesday of Sexagesima

God threatens to punish all who break these commandments. Therefore, we should fear His wrath and not do anything against them. But He promises grace and every blessing to all who keep these commandments. Therefore, we shouldalso love and trust in Him and gladly do what He commands. (The Close of the Commandments)
